Summary
How to extend the legs
Pull on the tab to unlock a segment of the leg. You can now extend the leg by pulling it out. Make sure to push the tab back in its original position so it locks the leg and it doesn't slide back in.
- You can adjust the legs to different lengths if you're filming on rough terrain
- Use the level to check if your tripod is level
The head of the tripod
- Detach the snap plate from the head by flipping the handle 180 degrees. Once you've screwed your phone mount onto the the plate, slide it into the groove and press down. In order to secure the plate, flip the handle back in its original position.
- Turn the large knob on the side in order to point and tilt the head in the direction you like. Tighten this knob again in order to secure the head in position.
- By turning the screw on top of the phone mount, you can adjust the height and place your phone in the phone mount. Tighten the knob again in order to secure your phone in place.
- By loosening the knob on your phone mount, you can turn your phone into a vertical position. Remember to tighten the knob again to secure your phone in place.
- Remember, for regular videos, to always film horizontally.
Extending the middle part of the tripod
Loosen the small knob at the top of the legs and flip the handle up. You can now adjust the height. Don't let go of the handle before you tighten the knob again in order to secure the rod.
Quick tips
- Place your camera at eye level of the interviewee
- When filming handheld, use the tripod for a steady grip
