Summary
Your script will consist of three sections:
- Introduction: discusses who, what, and where
- Body: solution/approach to the what that’s explained in the introduction
- Conclusion: Result of the solution/approach
How to prepare a complete shot list for your video:
- Write down all the questions you’ll need to ask to get the complete story from your interviewee
- Write down all the B-roll scenes you need to illustrate the answers given during the interview
Don’t forget to shoot wide, medium, and closeups of everything that you’re shooting B-roll of!
You can use the same script for different episodes in order to create a series! We call this a format.
Eddie has a handy tool you can use to help set up your script. You can find it here.
